I was hoping someone might know if this is possible? See picture.

I have a laptop (DELL Inspiron 5737) that only has an HDMI for an external monitor. I am presently driving a secondary monitor with an HDMI cable (HDMI connector on both ends). Is there a way of making a second (second external) monitor work?

On my existing external monitor I have also a DVI-D and D-SUB....would they be of any help?

I probably should have said that I wanted them to operate as independent screens, not as duplicates. Sorry. I suspect an HDMI splitter is only going to duplicate the monitor's view to another monitor.

There are a few options. USB c to HDMI adapter works pretty flawlessly if you have an open port. Otherwise a USB to HDMI converter or a cheap USB Port Replicator that allows for multiple monitors.
