Hi we have a problem with cladding that is unsticking due to water infiltration at the base of the wall into the brickwork behind it. I am looking for a temporary repair that I can apply at the base of the wall to stop water ingress. Any suggestions please? We will get a permanent repair but it will take some time due to availability of contractors. The gap is around 2cm wide.
My local French diy shop suggested applying mortar with a waterproof chemical added. But as my language skills are not sufficient to explain the situation fully any other suggestions would be appreciated.
