I want to get rid of the carpet in my porch area and replace with a nice lino. Lifting the carpet, the photo shows the tiles underneath.
I think that because of the height of the carpet and the state of the flooring, I should put down some ply and lay the lino on top.
Couple of questions:
1) Am I right in thinking about the ply?
2) If so, how would you fix to the floor? Are there any particular fixings you'd recommend? Would concrete screws be over the top?
