I am having trouble with my cold water tap in the bathroom, sometimes the water will cut off and when you try to turn the tap on I hear clicking noise. I have checked it for an air lock this seems ok.

It will run very slowly for a while and when you go to fully open the tap the water cuts out.
I would appreciate any help and advice with this problem.

Regards Peter

Hello Peter

Problem of clicking noise
there are tow ceramic chip in the plastic heart valve of cold-hot water tap. normally there is a groove in the upper chip and a hole in the under chip. you will see a hardware mesh in the groove, it is use for noise reduction. if the mesh was block by
dirts, there comes noise.
