Hi,
I have a Worcester Bosch 24CDi RSF boiler that has just decided to develop a fault. Hot water side is fine, diverter valve operates, boiler fires and I get lovely hot water. Problem occurs when there is a demand for central heating, nothing.... no attempt to ignite the burner. The pump runs and thats about it. The only indication as to whats wrong is the light above the central heating dial flashes slowly, from the manual, this point to an ignition lockout failure. Why should the ignition fail for central heating and not hot water? Any thoughts greatly appreciated. I have tested all I can think to, overheat sensor, dhw and ch thermostat sensors, solenoid resistances.....
Thanks in advance
Rob
