Just recently We are experiencing loud banging in the walls when the washer is run with hot water. The water heater has been replaced recently, before the hammering.,It doesn't happen when the hot water is turned on somewhere else. When the washer is filling the flow of water keeps stopping and starting rapidly. It seems the loud banging is in synch. Is it normal for a machine to fill this way? If not, can I fix it? Could this be related to the water heater install?
Thanks

Hi Ron
From your description, the noise is 'water hammer'. The machine should not be doing this. I can only suggest that you get help from an appliance technician to diagnose the problem, and advise on the cause.
It would be wise not to use the machine in that condition.
