Hi all,

We bough new build house with 4 solar panels which are not plugged to the grid. We are wondering how to understand the readings which are on it. For example currently it shows 08.3 kWh unit.
What would that be in Watts? All the calculators ask me to put kWh and time which is confusing since I only have the reading

kWh = Kilo x Watt x hours

kilo = 1000
Watt = volts x amps
hours = how long the kW shown above has been supplied

Assuming your reading 08.3 kW for the last hour, or 1 (that is, 1 hour).

Your reading is showing 08.3 kilo Watts, so you must multiply this "kW" reading by 1000 to get the Watts ("W"). Watts x 1000 = kilo Watts (kW)

So 08.3kW x 1000 = 8300W

8300 Watts where produced by the solar system in the last hour (being 1). If your solar display was to show the last two (2) hours, it would have said:
kWh =
kilo x Watt x hours
08.3 x 1000 x 2
16600W
