We currently have a single phase electrical supply limited via a 60 amp fuse by the supplier. We have just asked them to upgrade this to a 100 amp fuse and they want nearly £1000 to do this including the necessity to excavate for the cable outside the wall of the house.
What exactly do they have to do.? There is plenty or room around the tail of the incomer.
Do they have to run new cables or just supply a larger fuse box on the end of their incoming cable.?
