Stucco storm door

I need help with a door that leaks into my home. It’s located in a balcony that sits on top of a bedroom the door is leaking from the stucco I had placed a storm door on the stucco and I think it was leaking even more because the holes the screws made on it I recently sealed the holes with quikrete hydraulic and was thinking about doing a stucco coat. I don’t know how to install the storm door again if I should just screw wood boards on the stucco and the door on top of them or what to do. Thanks for your help in advance
