I have a small security camera that I want to install over my front door. My house is stucco.
I was planning on using a piece of hardwood 1x6 about 10 inches long. I don't want to purchase a long piece as I don't have any way to cut it.
I am looking for some alternative material which is somewhere the dimensions I need and 3/4" thick and ale to accept wood screws to attach the camera mount which is 2-1/2" diameter. I will then attach it above my front door using 1-1/2" Stucco Screws.

Any suggestions for something already made that I can use instead?

I would rather attach the camera mount level and accurately drill the screws. I then would mount the substrate on the stucco using 4 1-1/2" stucco screws. It is undercover and wouldn't get direct rain.
