Hey there. I'm wondering if anyone has encountered a shortage of shingle availability. A roofing contractor delivered an energy star shingle sample--Owens Corning's lightest color, and then the very next day delivered a darker (but still energy star, I was told) Malarky sample, and said that this was my only choice.
I really appreciate the samples and do fully admit to being picky about roof color. I'll have to live with it for years and was unhappy with my previous choice.
Before I circle back and enquire what non-energy star (darker) options are available, thought I'd check here and see if any of you have encountered similar limited options. I'm assuming that DIY-ers might have more to work with since you'd be buying from a big box store. But just thought I'd check.
