This is an oven and microwave combo and expensive to replace.
The microwave door is kind of flimsy unfortunately.
In the one I am working on, the front glass door has come off, but is still in one piece.
The plastic frame that the door mounts to is cracked.
Some screws are missing or the wrong size had been used.
I have a parts list, but it only lists manufacturer part numbers and many are obsolete, or "through the nose" expensive

I found a new plastic door frame.
I need to find the right screws -- looked on Ebay already and some appliance parts stores.

Are the microwave screws special in some way or can any be used as long as they fit ? An example shown below:

Can blue Loctite be used to better retain the screw ?
The whole door structure is shown below:

Screws 18, 21 and 19 are of interest in this repair.

They'll be regular screws.

But v.important to make sure you do a good job - microwaves escaping around a poorly fitting door can be extremely dangerous.

Thank you for your response. I wish the vendor at least specified the screws so you could get alternatives. Now is more of a trial and error.
I will make sure the door fits well with whichever screws I eventually use.
