Re-oiling oak kitchen worktop

I have rubbed down with 120 sandpaper, cleaned top and waited for it to dry then applied a light coat of Tung Oil which I wiped off after 20 mins then left worktop for 24 hours before applying second coat of Tung Oil. After 20 mins I wiped second coat off and repeated process the following day. In total 3 coats of Tung Oil. The worktop looks ok but has a bloom which I cannot seem to get to a sheen (which my late husband always managed to do). What am I doing wrong?

Try butcher block oil to see if it gives you the finish you are looking for.
