Hi
Since we moved in 4 years ago one of the rings on the cooker has burnt with a yellowish flame which makes the saucepans etc black. The cooker was setup for Lpg gas as there is no mains here. I have finally got round to seeing if I can find out what is wrong with it. I have given it a good clean and removed the jet and cleaned it but this has made no difference. I removed the hob top today to see if I could locate and adjust the air shutter but there doesn't appear to be anything there that is adjustable. I checked the jet size and it is the correct one for the Lpg conversion. I tried a couple of smaller jets but these didn't make much if any difference. The larger jet as expected made it worse. I am now unsure how to proceed. There doesn't appear to be any companies in the area who could help with this issue.
Cheers Dave
