I would like to ask if it is a good idea to use a typical polyurethane outdoor varnish over a previous alkyd/synthetic resin outdoor (marine) varnish.
I wonder if this may cause trouble for example due to their different compositions.
I also would like to ask about the opposite procedure, using an alkyd outdoor (marine) varnish over a previous polyurethane outdoor varnish.
