it is rather an old machine but was good when working

Understood, it would appear that this model is "fairly Old" in that there does not appear to be any mention of it anywhere on the net??

What is not working?

Is it possible to strip the unit down to have a look and see if it can be repaired, may just be gummed up with dirt and saw dust??

The large alloy drive cog has sheared the threads that hold it onto the drive shaft

Any thread left on the shaft? if so what sort of condition? any chance of a pair of thin lock nuts top and bottom?

Have not seen any of these for sale or repair anywhere if you can find one you may be able to rob it for a spare part?
