Becoming a handyman will be a matter of pride for me. So I want to join this forum to learn whether should I be a plumber, electrician or what other sort of handymen job will be good for me.
Many of us on here are self-taught "jack of all trades," of advancing years.
We learned what skills we have long before "'elf n' safety" became an industry which seems hell bent on putting obstacles in the way of competent handymen.
You can teach yourself plumbing and carpentry and find work if you want to make a career of it. But working with electricity requires qualifications, as it should.
