Need ideas of how to fix water collecting against garage door on down hill driveway

Hello, I am looking for opinions on how to handle water running down a sloped driveway and collecting against the garage door. What I was thinking, was to put long drain across the outside of the garage door that drains off into a sump pit that has a pump connected to the white downspout ejection pipe you see there in the picture, it runs out to the sidewalk. Thanks
