Hi
I noticed that lately food has started to freeze in my fridge. model LG LSX26366S . I tried to twist the thermostat, apparently it does't work, since the temperature does't change. Question: can I replace the thermostat myself (the warranty for the refrigerator has expired long ago) or is it better to invite a repair specialist. If the first option, then how to do it and which thermostat to buy?

Mark, first check a couple of things out. First make sure any coils under the unit are clean. This should be done every 6 months for efficiency anyway. Second, be sure all the vents into the freezer and refrigerator sections are clear for proper air flow.

Thanks, it's probably worth checking the coils. If I've the correct information, they were cleaned about 2-3 years ago.
