Hello,

I have an interior french door that swings out and is for a closet. The top of both of the doors have a ball catch mechanism to hold the door in place. Left side works great, right side as you can see from pictures doesn't like up and the ball never catches. I need to raise the right side a bit. Whats the best course of attack here?

Thanks

I would remove the screws holding the right side of the pre-hung door frame to the wall (see blue).

Remove all the shims, remembering where they where originally placed.

Cut new shims with additions (see red) as suggested, reinstall shims, reinstall screws (blue), then see if door is corrected.

Let me know.
