I have ikea coffee table with glass top and heavy draw underneath it. Anyway the paint at the bottom of the leg got chipped away and it's all gradually pulverising! My dogs don't help (probably them that damaged it) I've attached a pic. What can I do to it before I paint over it wirh correct colour matched paint. Shall I flatten it down and put some pva glue over it to seal it and for the paint to bond with it?
(I will replace the table next year)
