I was wondering what tool I should use to cut my exterior window sill.

I need to make a cut to the wood exterior window sill that I have freshly installed and I was wondering what tool I should use? I have my hand in the picture to give you a rough idea of size. I just need to take off about a quarter inch off the end. In advance thank you for your help.

I am assuming you are needing to do this to install Jchannel around the window. I would use an oscillating multi tool like a sonic crafter or fein multimaster. you could also use a pull saw.

use an oscillating tool like Fein multimaster and a sharp blade. Those sorts of things should be cut to the right length before they are installed.
