How to make pressure washer spray further?

I have a black and decker 1200w pressure washer. How can I make it spray water a long distance eg 30 or 40 feet or 10 metres or even further . Can I saw off the nozzle?
I'm aware that the water pressure will drop over the distance.

Change the tip from a fan to the pinpoint tip.
