Hi,
I was replacing the thermostat in the lounge from an old 4 wire setup to a 2 wire. i wired the neutral in by mistake which blew the fuse in the switch by the boiler. i fixed the wiring in thermostat but mistakenly replaced the 3A fuse with a 13A fuse. Fuses blew again but after replacing with another 3A fuse i'm left with the following:
[*]Switch with fuse near boiler has light on
[*]Control panel lights up fine
[*]pilot light comes on fine
[*]however;
[*]Boiler doesnt fire up
[*]no live to lounge thermostat

The boiler is a gloworm hideaway 50B.

I think its all related to the 13A fuse being installed but how can i fix it?
Please help, thanks!!

If you corrected your mistake in the room stat why did the 13a fuse blow ?
The 4 wires are usually Live, Neutral, Switch Live, Earth. you need to use Live and Switch Live only.

Most often the thing that gets damaged is the electronic programmer that is in the live feed before the room stat.
