Hi All

Hopefully one of you can help :)

Our house is a 3 story house, 3 years old, the Airing cupboard is on top floor, the hot water cylinder has two tanks above it - moth metal cylinders, one is white and one is red. The red tank has the "taps" to it turned off and has a pressure gauge underneath?

Anyway, whenever you turn a hot water tap on or the shower the white metal tank bangs and shakes as there is air trapped in the system.

We had the same last year and a plumber who was working down the road bled the air off in a couple of minutes in the airing cupboard but the wife never watched what he did.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance!
