I have just re-piped my 2400 SF. two level, 80 year old home and replaced the water heater with a 50 gal Rheem. It is now taking 2 minutes to get hot water to my kitchen sink and dishwasher. Is the Grundfos Hot Water Recirculator with a heat triggered valve, an easy install? One Plumber advises yes, it's a simple add-on, plumber #2 says I have to add an additional pipe to the farthest hot water tap in the house which is an expensive item, (especially considering the new re-pipe).
