We have a dormer window which was expensively leaded six years ago and the lead has just blown off in the recent storms - causing a lot of damage in the process. We do live in a very windy coastal location and need to have it re-roofed and we have no idea what the best solution might be. This is not about cost, or even durability, but about which material we can get which will actually stay in position during the worst storms and can be made completely watertight. Obviously, whatever praises are sung about lead, it has not worked for us. Any advice welcome. Thanks in anticipation.
