dishwasher stopped working

hello I had put in a new dishwasher last year - the electrician went into the hard line and put in a designated oulet box - everything working fine - one day stopped workig -
checked breakers - pulled dishwasher out- works fine using another outlet - - could it be a loose wire? should we replace box? can not aford an electrician back in the house-

Does another (working) appliance work on that socket?

If not, deffo dodgy wiring or box!
