This Planer has been 'sleeping' in a box since 1985! Hardly used! Have 'found' it a 'chip/dust' bag, some reversible blades, and a 'rebating depth guide, all at Amazon! The Allen key screws on the 'blade changer' have been firmly stuck so covered in WD40 two of them are now loose, hoping the third will loosen soon. When turned on, sounds ok to me

On cleaning out as much as possible, undid the 'depth' knob bit toooo much, and this all fell out! It has a spring, a small round ring, and a bigger round ring on top of each other but, cannot fit together through slot-hole to take the knob! Anybody know how this can be put together? Got it 'together' with knob but cannot find 'how' this larger round ring does not fit? Whole thing acts a 'push down' to move the knob forward/backwards for planer's depth! Help please required? Thanks
