Biasi boiler 'hunting'

Hi All,

Have a Biasi combi boiler (A 'Riva 24' off the top of my head)

When a DHW tap is on the boiler cuts in and out in and out. It'll fire for a few seconds then 'clunk' the burners switch off. A few seconds later 'clunk' the burners fire up again then a few seconds later 'clunk' they switch off. The water goes hot-cold-hot-cold etc.

(A few months ago the diaphragm was replaced as it'd sprung a leak-could this be connected?)

Any ideas..?

PS: Flow switch was replaced at the same time as the diaphraghm.

Discovered the cause of the problem!

The only problem left now is where to buy boiler spares in Hampshire, over the bank holiday weekend! Anyone got any suggestions??!

please please can you tell me what it was that had failed as I have the same problem and my wife is about to kill me if I dont fix it
