My powervent heater is giving me a pressure switch error. I have replaced the switch and continue to get the error. The water heat is AO Smith GS-40-YBVIS
I have had the device 10+ years and made no configuration changes.
I have checked the hose and the vent and see no obstructions. I feel a slight suctions on the hose when the fan is running, so it implies it is working. I have tried jumping the switch by connecting a wire to one side, turning on the device and waiting about 5 seconds and connecting the other side to the second terminal. I still get the same error.
Do I need to reset the device somehow after I replaced the switch?
