whitening of grouting between bathroom tiles

Can you advise why the above would happen. between the tiles in the bathroom a white fluffy deposit appears - the grouting is a beige colour to match tiles but is it normal for a coloured grout to go this way ???

We've done this on another thread. The gaps between the tiles can harbour all sorts of algae and organisms, in a damp atmosphere, I found a cure for it.
