hello guys, ive come here hoping to get some advice on buying a power washer. yes its that time of year. ive been researching as much as i can but i havent come across a name/brand that is a definite "buy me". so many sites have said stay clear of karcher....my research led me to this site in particular the medway handyman who has written a brilliant piece some years ago on high pressure cleaners (diyfaq.org.uk/electrical/pressure_washer_faq.htm)
down to business- im looking for a power washer that:
has brass and/or stainless steel pump and components
electric 240v
can handle sand for sand blasting
induction motor that wont over heat easily
good lance and hose
it is for domestic use but i believe "you get what you pay for" and im wondering if i should be looking towards a commercial model? this is where i call upon the experts to lead the way. ive had my eye on a "nixon" power washer as a farming forum was giving it good independent reviews but these are four figure sums!
