UK, Will a fitter install a second hand boiler?

Hi all,

Apologies for the second post so soon, just checking out possibilities.

I see on eBay, Worcester boilers about 1 year old for reasonable prices.
Contacted 4 or 5 local businesses today, just to be told "sorry we don't fit second hand appliances"

I know they make a good mark up on new boilers, but does anyone know any further reasons for their lack of interest. Obviously if the boiler I buy is a duff, that's my problem, but there must be other reasons??
