Stormdry

I applied stormdry on two small external areas which get a lot of rain.
I applied in the dry and as per advice guidelines.
With us now having heavy rain, I have noticed these two areas are wetter than other bricks. Is there a reason for this as I was hoping these areas would be dryer.

Are you sure you aren't seeing surface water? Where I applied the same stuff on walls, it repelled the water rather than it soaking in. This gave the effect of the whole surface being wet, but not soaked in.
