We have a 24 year old unit that has generally given good service but there seems a problem with the pilot light recently.
You can get the pilot to light following the correct sequence and the boiler will then light and work nomally for a short while until the pilot goes out again.
I know there will be a valid reason for the light going out ie a small gas leak or maybe overheating? I wonder if there is an over temp sensor somewhere perhaps?
Our system is not ideal (no pun intended) at the moment as we have been waiting for our local plumber to change the Honeywell three port valve which we have to operate manually to get the radiators on.
Any suggestions would be very welcome
