A leak in my garage flat roof soaked the chipboard roof linings and although the roof has now been repaired some of the chipboard panels have started to disintegrate. Can I use PVA to stabilize the chipboard and, if so, at what dilution? Can I use a pump-type garden spray to apply the PVA and would the spray clean easily after use?"
