Splitting power from generator into multiple circuits

Hi,
I am building an electrical system for a portable shelter/tent. I was hoping to spit 30A power from a generator outlet into 4 seperate circuits, and I am not sure what the best way to do this would be.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Is this a temporary installation, like an outdoor event? or a permanent thing, in which case wiring a tent is a bit odd.

For an event I would just use a 4 way 16A splitter box and extension cables with weatherproof socket outlets.
