Hi all.

I've been looking at converting our detached garage into something of a play house for our son. Nothing too major but I keep reading different ways of doing the insulation.

It's a new build (2018) detached garage with single brick and slab floor. BPM is visible two bricks up from floor on the brick work and I'm assuming a DPM is also under the slab somewhere but I can't see it.

What my plan is to...

1 - DPM 1000 gauge between anything that touches either brick or slab.
2 - Treated CLS 38x63mm for the batten frame floor.
3 - CLS 38x63mm for the rest of the batten frame.
4 - Integrated breathable membrane between the brick and the frame.
5 - 50MM Kingspan to fill the batten frame.
6 - Plasterboard\ply the frame.

I could use 38x89mm CLS timber which allows the use of 75mm Kingspan on the walls but not sure it's needed?

Questions,

1 - Is there any issues with this?
1 - Should I jump to 75Mm Kingspan?
3 - Do I need to leave an airgap between the "Integrated breathable membrane" and the wall?

Thanks.
