Reversing garage door

My garage door requires many attempts before it will close completely. I reverses many times but will eventually close if I continually press the button. I have checked pressure adjustment and safety switch alignment with no success. Any help would be appreciated

In troubleshooting, I noticed that when i press the button to cause the door to down, the "up" travel arrow blinks 4 times then the "down" arrow blinks 1 time. I don't know what this means but I suspect it is some sort of "error code". Anyone know what this means?

What is the make/model of your operator?

When you depress the CLOSE button, does the door only slightly bump itself closed further, or must you OPEN the door some distance, then re-attempt a CLOSE command?
