Radiator Paint Deteriorating Rapidly

Hi Folks,
Can anyone offer any advice on this one?
My kitchen radiator is requiring a fresh paint job about every 8 months. No matter what I do I can't seem to get around it.
Each time I remove the flaking old paint, and then apply a couple of fresh coats. It looks great for a few moths, but then begins to deteriorate rapidly. The paint cracks and begins flaking off.
Please see the picture attached. Has anyone got any ideas?

Hi Zanco,

Are you using the same paint each time - if so, which paint is it? I'm guessing it is radiator specific paint (to work with the constant temperature changes)?

Yup, it'll stand up to the temperatures and should still look good after many years - I've got some that has been on a radiator for 10+ years and it still looks fine. :)

Your local DIY store will definitely stock it.

Should save you lots of re-painting time :D.

Cheers Keith. Yes, start from a clean slate as they say.
