I am building a propane powered Track Drying Device for a local Drag Racing track. It is a series of 10 "weed burner" type units that are connected to a central manifold and fed by propane. Each has an .035 orifice and is housed in a 3" pipe of 7" in length. Each produces approx. 250 K - BTU's. I am using a Fisher 67CH-743 Regulator (3-35). Obviously a 20lb bottle froze quickly (10min) on testing. We are interested in information on using liquid propane from two forklift type bottles. Will the manifold provide sufficient vaporizing? It is a schedule 80 -1 1/4" anodized aluminum tube 96" in length. 10- 1/4" lines are tapped and run to the individual burners. Is the Fisher Valve compatible with liquid propane?
