pre finished oak doors

is their a massive benefit to buying prefinished oak doors as opposed to ones i'd varnish myself?... as i,ve seen some on a website (savoydoors.com) they seem good value ...

What comes to mind, is that in order to hang a door, there will always be the need to trim the edges to fit, cut recesses for hinges etc. This must mean that these areas at least are going to require finishing after hanging, and if you can manage to hang the door without the slightest scratch anywhere else, you are very lucky.

it would save me a lot of time as i have 12 to fit ..what do you think of their pattern 10 ones ?

Choice is yours, I'm just pointing out that there will be some finishing work to do, and it must match whatever they've applied.
