Hi guys, keen for some opinions from the hive-mind on this one. My missus is keen for me to make a partition wall for the entry to our house. We’re after a stained wood look in the end and likely something like this.
I’m a metal worker back in the day so curious to get opinions on timber to use? Course I want to hit that sweet spot on decent quality but also not having to donate an organ price wise. Had MDF slats recommended before we decided on a stained timber look, for hardness and straightness. Could I get away with decent quality pine? Also assume that rounded edge pine timbers would be a rubbish finish when trying to fit them all together with nice tight joints.
Any advice welcome, thanks in advance.
