we want to totally remove the fire/boiler when redoing the living room.we had gas central heating fitted 9 years ago and the fires been redundant all that time.the water was capped off by the gas board.have a chap coming to sweep and cap chimey.can we just unbolt the fire and remove it or do we need proffesional help?.
