We are going away from a home in Kansas from December 1 until April 1. We had new wood floors installed in August. I am wondering what to leave the furnace set on & what to leave the General 1042-L Humidifier set on. I know there can be unseasonably hot and cold days during that period. Any assistance is appreciated. THANKS !

The wood in your house is probably around 8% moisture. I'd probably shoot for about 55° and 35% RH.
