Hi, can someone please advise me as to what size drill bit I need to drill into concrete for a M6 bolt? Also do I screw it in or knock it in with a hammer?
Thanks

What type of bolts are you using? Are you using anchor/sleeve bolts or is this a bolt designed to drive straight in to concrete?

We'd need to know more about the bolt (ideally a picture) to give you more info.

For screwbolts, you'd use a drill bit the same diameter as the core of the bolt (minus the threads). I assume it'll be a 6mm bit you'll need - but line it up and make sure it is the same diameter as the main shaft of the bolt - the threads need to cut in to the concrete.

Once you've drilled the pilot hole, use a socket set to screw it in.
