Load bearing internal wall not fully supported?

Hello, this is my first post. I've read through quite a few other posts and can't seem to find a answer to my exact question!
We have recently moved into a house approximately 1940s 1950s build. the previous owner removed a internal load bearing wall and supported with an RSJ.
I have just removed the floorboards alongside where RSJ has been installed and noticed that pretty much all the bricks are unsupported above the RSJ.
Also it looks like all the floor joists have also dropped...
There were very faint hairline cracks in the plaster in the wall above the RSJ when we first moved in so I marked these cracks to check for movement before we installed recessed electrical sockets in the wall. There has been no movement in the wall but after removing plaster along the crack I've noticed that a lot of the bricks in the Wall have become unbonded from the cement...
please see pictures... all images are in a upstairs bedroom directly above the RSJ.
Last two images are of opposite side of the wall upstairs.

Some advise would be awesome. Since the plasterboard on the ceiling downstairs looks like it was fitted after the joists have dropped I was thinking the best option to make good would be to pack out the gaps between the RSJ and bricks and also lift joists a little if possible and pack out. And also grind out the loose morter where crack is in the wall and re-point. I was looking at installing some helical rods to reinforce wall but maybe this is a little overkill?!
