Hi
I am having a 2.5m wide studwall built today out of 3x2s.... Its between a small room and a rather large conservatory. The chap putting it together isn't sure what type of insulation to put in. Problem is that in the summer the conservatory side will be warmer than the inside, and in the winter it will be the other way around. Hence i'm quite concerned about condensation.
Can i use polystyene or do i need kingspan type stuff? Should it have foil on both sides? Do we need to leave any room for it to breath or can i just fill the gaps between the studs totally?
Its pretty urgent so your responses would be much appreciated!
Btw - the small room has no windows... Its 2x 2.7m in size
Thanks!!
