Hi, I am trying to fit a new light but I don't have a clue what to do - husband used to do everything in the house before he left. Picture 1 is the new light (box said pre-wired) and picture 2 and 3 is the old light fitting. In picture 3 the brown and blue wire coming out of the white holder go into the lightbulb and then there's the earth wire separate.Do I just cut the lightbulb off and put the blue and brown wire (and earth) into the blue and brown slots on the new fitting or is it more complicated? Sorry if basic but just want to get this right and will be a little achievement to do some DIY as me and my daughter make our new house right!
